Scrapbook Generation Publishing Creative Team

Exciting news!

As I've mentioned before, I love sketches and I use them for much of my work. A favorite resource for double page sketches is Allison Davis' blog.

Well Allison, along with her family, own Scrapbook Generation Publishing under which Allison and her mother have published sketch books. And they have a scrapbooking store in MO, too! As part of their expansion in 2011, they've rounded up a Creative Team to help them show what sketches are all about. They will now be creating single page sketches, card sketches, and add-on sketches for smaller projects, too!

I've been asked to join their Creative Team!

I made these 3 projects with their sketches as part of my entry for the "job:"

I'm so excited to work with Allison and the other members of the Creative Team!

1 Month

Awww, Tobin used to be so skinny.

Details: Gear paper is by Recollections. "boy," "baby," and "little wonders" accents are by Crate Paper. Yellow words strip is from the 7 Gypsies "B is for baby" sticker sheet. Number sticker strip is by Creative Imaginations. Title was written with Creative Memories stickers.

Bath Time

Tobin's first experience being washed! Little did we know his belly button would take 2.5 months to heal and we'd be sponge bathing him for a really long time!

Details: Background elephant paper is by Hambly Studios. "Baby's First Bath" sticker is by Marcella K. The rest of this layout was made with the Making Memories Pitter Patter collection.

I cracked out the sewing machine for this layout and stitched around the teal paper.

As with most of my layouts, this was made based on a sketch. This sketch came from the new Page Maps 2 book.
