Vacation!
I won't be posting any work for a couple weeks as I'll be in Europe, traveling and snowboarding! I'll be sure to add some new work when I get back.
My Very First SWARM
These are some mementos from the first Cricut SWARM I attended. A SWARM is a scrapbooking crop specific to Cricut owners and their friends. Yes, the worst pun ever. =P
The piece of paper with "Noey" on it was my personalized goodie bag. We were also given Halloween M&M's in the test tube as "SWARM Energy Pills." We had a lot of fun. So much in fact, that I forgot to take pictures. Typical.
Details: "My very first" was cut using the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge. "SWARM" was cut using Cuttin' Up.

Lobster Rolls
As it turns out, if you were to want a lobster roll, this is the place to go. But it's in Maine. My dad and I found this hole in the wall on our way to the Botanical Gardens. They were the only plce around with a 20 person line at 3 in the afternoon. We didn't have time to figure out why it was so popular then, but I went back with my mom and it took 1.5 hours to get food! They're famous because they serve up and ENTIRE lobster on a roll.
Details: Dotted paper is by Daisy Bucket. Their papers all have a wonderful texture. Ribbon is from Michael's. Scallops were cut using the Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge. "Lobster" was cut using Calligraphy (Inspiration feature).
Mother
More pictures from my trip home. I decided to get some nice shots of my mother at the Maine Botanical Gardens. These are my favorites.
Details: Block patterned paper is "Autumn Squares" by Flair Designs. Maroon paper was embossed with Cuttlebug. Purple scallops were made using the Fiskars Threading Water punch. "Mother" was cut using the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge.

Natural Beauty
I saw one day on CNN these botanical gardens in Maine. It just so happened that my dad and I would be passing through the area anyway so we decided to check it out. It was just beautiful. There are a few different sections of the garden: a tranquility area with carved stone, a children's area to build stick forts, a waterfall with benches nearby, and a hall of birches. I had a lot of fun taking pictures here.
Details: Background paper is: "Lavender Rosebuds" by Paper Pizazz. Journaling tag is from a Target $1 spot set. "Natural" was cut using the Calligraphy Cricut cartridge. "Beauty" was cut using Storybook.
