Chinatown




Warren and I joined another couple to go to Chinatown in San Francisco for the Lunar New Year parade back in February (the parade was late). These are pictures from after the parade wandering around and having dinner.


Details: The fabulous birdcage paper is by Hambly Studios. It was hand silk-screened and has a great shine. "Chinatown" was cut with the Storybook Cricut cartridge. Swirls were cut with Calligraphy.

A Complete 8x8 Album

I made this full 8x8 album for my parents. These are pictures from our recent trip to Europe: visiting my brother in Germany and skiing in Austria.

Details: "Trip Details" journaling block is by Teresa Collins. Blue patterned paper is from the SEI Grandpa's Attic line. Game Spinner accent is by Tim Holtz. To add dimension, I cut out the red star under the game spinner using the Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge.

Details: Black scallops are cut from SEI Black Orchid - Milou Mist paper. Blue ribbon is from Michael's. "ZUGSPITZE" was written with Making Memories glitter alpha stickers.
Details: Blue paper is Ki Memories Winter Stitched Plaid. Arrow was cut using the Going Places Cricut cartridge. "a little" was written using rubons by Autumn Leaves. "adventure" was cut using Stamped.

A Married Little Christmas




Warren's and I first Christmas as a married couple. And probably our last Christmas by ourselves. It was wonderful spending the holiday together in our new apartment with our first real Christmas tree.

Feast


Pictures from Thanksgiving! Warren's mom and John drove up to visit us from LA. This was the first year I prepared a real Thanksgiving dinner.

Home Sweet Home


So, I look terrible in these photos. Perhaps it was from the crappy sleep we got until our mattress arrived. Anyway, here we are having the first meal in our new apartment. Quizno's! Yum. I kept this layout really simple.

New Friends

Pictures from my recent trip to Tahoe with friends to go skiing. The snow wasn't perfect, but we had fun anyway.
